“Treat me well, and I will treat you well….the Ocean”

Let go of the expectation of form; it is too limiting. I can seep into the smallest space and cover vast expanses as I am not particular about form. When you are too rigid, you become brittle. You cannot bend, shift and adjust without breaking. So open your heart to the energy of change. Become malleable, without expectation of anything other than the most beautiful of outcomes.

The moral compass is a human journey. I, the Ocean, do not set out to harm, so I have no need for morals. Yes, I can cause destruction and cause great harm, but this is never from a place of intending harm. I simply am, and I do not place any judgments upon the life forms that choose to come to harm from their interaction with me. Just as a tire of a vehicle does not cause harm to your foot unless your foot is under it, so too, my ebb and flow is not done with any intent of harm. I am simply doing what I do, and those who interact may do so from mutual benefit or harm.

There are many who harm me from their carelessness, some who intentionally harm me, and many who care deeply. Your caring has more impact than your actions. Does that surprise you? It is part of the Law of Resonance. The expression ‘first, do no harm’ might better be ‘first, do no intentional harm’. Intentionally taking actions carries a very different energy than unwittingly taking actions. Start from the fundamental intention of compassion and proceed from there.

Only those with an ego can have this kind of intention; the egoless beings do not. Nature never operates from intentional harm. She simply does what she does. For some, this helps; for others, it harms. But if you (human) are operating from intention and resonating with the well-being of nature and all beings, then nature will naturally conspire with you to create the best possible outcome.

This is a message I received from the ocean sometime ago when sitting on the shore meditating, but now seems like the right time to share it.
