We can make a big difference in the world based on our choices.
What are you choosing?
Many of the people I am currently supporting are experiencing a sense of frustration and hopelessness, whether this is a concern about being on the right or wrong side of current debates, overwhelming loneliness due to all the mandates, or emptiness from loss of family ties or work environment. Whatever place you currently find yourself in, there is something you can do to help rebuild our society and community.
Last month’s blog post was entitled The Courage to Love and I recommend you read it if you have not already. Now let’s build on that and talk about what each one of us can actively do to share love and help end the division that has become so prevalent.
It is important to hold ALL in a place of love. Not just those you agree with, but those you disagree with as well. Do you have the courage to love your friends as well as your enemies? To send love to those you believe, as well as those whose views you oppose?
Remember, we seldom know how Spirit wishes to work through us and what is truly the best outcome until it has occurred. Often we must lose something to create space for something new, and during that moment we may judge the events as bad, then in the next moment, we come to realize that loss was actually an opportunity. How empowering would it be to treat every challenge as an opportunity?
In our process of holding love in our hearts, it is important to look at ‘our truth’ from the place of questioning, as the truth is a living and shifting dynamic and we are all continually learning and growing. One of the superpowers of a person in a compassionate, loving state is the ability to hold all views as worthwhile.
The Galactic Council recently reminded one of my groups “Here you are expecting ascension to be all sunshine and roses, but you seem to have forgotten that too much sun can burn, and roses have thorns”. A great reminder that there are multiple views of every situation, and someone considering one view as right, actually does not make another view wrong. The underlying importance is that everyone is doing their best to be kind and take care of the collective, not just themselves.
With all of that in mind, I challenge you to a daily meditation or prayer practice of seeing ALL surrounded by light as you hold them in your heart to do right by humanity and the earth, invite them to operate from a space of love and compassion for every other being on the planet and to let go of any self-righteousness or greed. See all beings coming into a place of peace, understanding and cooperation for the highest good of everyone, even if you do not completely understand what that highest good might be or how it might come about.
This will be easiest to do with those others you agree with, but it is equally important to do with those you disagree with. You may find this exercise assists you in letting go of your own shame, blame, guilt and fear as you move past limited perspectives and invite yourself and others into a place of harmony with each other and the planet, tapping into the divine energy of oneness.
I leave you with this challenge and offer to each one of you my deepest love, gratitude and honouring for your journey through these interesting times!
