What are your expectations for 2020? Are your expectations of doom and gloom, or expectations of hope? Humanity has entered into a new experience in 2020, one that requires new navigation skills. Now more than ever it is important to be at peace within and with others regardless of their point of view.
Intro from Bonnie
The current unfolding on the planet is really shaking people up. Clients are showing up for appointments filled with fear and frustration, feeling concerned and uncertain. I am also noticing in my weekly classes the groups seem to be on an emotional roller coaster. And they are not all on the same roller coaster, some weeks some are up, and others are down, then the following week the landscape has completely changed. There is this microcosm of experiences that have accelerated the experience of learning, of shifting, and resolving emotions, a whole new opportunity to learn to trust self and the Universe.
When you add the intense and rapid shifts to the range of opinions on social media, it is easy to get drawn into what is going on for everybody else. The wide range of opinions and the extreme range of emotions can create discomfort and there can be some fear associated with that.
We are dealing with a lot emotionally right now and expectations, I think, are really relevant in all of that because our expectations of the way things go, affect our resonance, which in turn, affects our experience. The Council has talked a lot about the importance of resonance. They refer to it as the Law of Resonance because they feel that it is so important for us to understand where we are resonating, where we are vibrating and therefore what we attract in line with the vibration. Vibrating in fear, attracts fear; vibrating in horror, attracts horror; vibrating in judgment, attracts judgment; vibrating in love attracts love; vibrating in peace and compassion, attracts peace and compassion. Now take a moment and check-in with self, what are you attracting?
This being a time of such extremes, I see a lot of people who had a pretty solid foundation in their spiritual practices feeling quite shaken. And that comes to expectations. What are your expectations for 2020? Where were you expecting you and your life to go? Where do you see yourself in a year or two? Where many thought they had solid answers to these questions, they are now feeling they cannot see past a month or two because they are just getting through day by day. This creates a wonderful opportunity for trust and surrender. Trusting the universe and surrendering to the present moment.
And then there are your expectations around autonomy. Do you resonate with the freedom to choose? Do you resonate with more direction or even being dictated to? Some people want a firm structure, others want it to be free and decide for themselves. The global society has moved very quickly into an experience of less personal freedom and more rules, which can be either comforting or disconcerting. One is not right and the other one wrong, but they are different vibrations. They are different resonances based upon your expectations of yourself and your society, and as things shift rapidly, they will create different responses.
Next are our expectations of others. One challenge at this time is to stay out of judgment of those who think differently than we are thinking. It doesn’t matter what that is, rather what matters is our ability to be in acceptance of our own point of view as well as the view of others who think very differently than us. To be in acceptance of their path and where they need to be, and most importantly to remember that all happening appropriately. Everything is unfolding for us to have an opportunity for us to learn what we need to learn and to experience what we need to experience, whatever that may be.
‘Expectation’ has a huge roll in our experience of resonance. If we expect things to be a certain way and they don’t turn out that way and we are disappointed, which then creates a reaction, and in turn, creates a vibration (or resonance). Many are having their expectations shifted abruptly at this time, which provides a wonderful opportunity to be fluid and flexible, to stop, take notice and adjust. This adjustment requires an adjustment in expectations of self, others and the world in order to flow with less reactionary energy or a smoother, more comfortable resonance.
Message from Galactic Council
Expectations are one of the ways that you create your reality!
Greetings dear ones, we are the Council and it is with great joy that we step into your presence. Yes, we are indeed excited to speak of this topic. This topic of expectations. Expectations are one of the ways that you create your reality. When you get up in the morning, if you have the expectation that you are going to have a horrible day, it is most likely you will. On the flip side of that, if you wake up in the morning and you take a moment to expect a fantastic day, a beautiful day filled with opportunity, potential and possibilities, then that is what you will encounter. Of course, there are always some variations to this as you are all creating over longer periods of time, but in general your expectation when you begin your day will set the tone for the whole day.
One of the things that we would encourage, with regards to expectations, is to expect gently of yourself. Do not place ridiculous expectations upon yourself that you must be perfect, must do everything right and must feel good all the time. You may have heard our partner say over the years that one of the biggest spiritual lies is the belief “if you are on this awakening journey, that you will always feel good”. That is, indeed, a lie. You will have your moments where you feel wonderful and you will have your moments when you feel challenged, both are fine. The key is what you do with these experiences. Do you allow yourself the feelings then take action to shift into a better place, or do you settle into a dismal place and proceed to numb your feelings? Regardless of how you are feeling, take the time to tune into your feelings, be gentle with yourself, and remember that this too shall pass. Remind yourself that whatever it is that you are experiencing with someone else, that it is about them and your response is about you.
We have heard many say that they do not want to expect the best of others because they are afraid they will be disappointed. Yes, that is a possibility. Would you rather spend 90% of your time expecting the best and 10% being disappointed, or would you rather spend 90% of your time expecting the worst and 10% of your time being delighted? We think it is fairly easy for you to figure out which one is going to feel better. Yes, there will be disappointments, lessons, learning and challenges. There will also be dismantling of things that are uncomfortable in order to create what is desired.
Dismantling the Current
With that, we will speak of this now moment and the dismantling that is happening. New expectations for 2020!
We know that as you look at what it is that is happening, you may think the whole world is crumbling. In some ways, you would be right. You see, that crumbling or dismantling is the only way that something else can be built. The key to the new building is expectations. What is it that you are expecting to be built in replacement for what is being dismantled? You would not renovate your house without a plan for what you are creating. You would not simply tear your house apart and say, well, we will see what happens. Maybe some of you would, but most of you would not! And we are quite sure you would not be happy with the results if that was your approach. However, if you spent some time noticing what would be a better fit for you, noticing how you could change and restructure things, maybe freshen things up so they became more pleasing and supportive to you and others. Then when you tear it apart and it crumbles, it will not look like so much of a disaster. And while it may still feel like a disaster in the middle of it, if you have a clear vision of where you are going, it will be much easier to get there. There has never been a more important time than now to hold that clear vision of what you want for the future. Don’t look at what-is and focus on what you don’t want, acknowledge what is creating fear then shift your focus to possibility. It is virtually impossible to not be aware of these things and that is fine, as they are a signal of what you don’t want. But do not stay with that fearful focus, instead create expectations and awareness of what you wish to create. Create a vision for the future and continue to operate from there.
One of the challenges facing humanity at this time is that most of you do not know what that new vision is supposed to be. You think you need the details and particulars of how to get there. May we suggest that all you really need is a vision of a better, more equitable world and an expectation of that occurring. And with that vision, consistently operate from a heart centred compassionate place, expecting the best in yourself and in others.
World Leaders
Are you focused on what you want or against what you don’t want?
This brings us to an important point; the expectation of those that are in office and making the decisions. If you, as a collective all hold the expectations that they will do their absolute best for humanity and your evolution, you will support them in doing that. If you point your finger at them and you say “You are wrong. You are doing this poorly. You are stupid.” Then that is what you are helping to create, and empowering them to create it because you are giving them your energy. But you are giving them that energy at a resonance that is not supportive of your well being and to your long-term expansion and awakening.
There is a dual focus here. First, there is the expectation of others, particularly those that have the capacity to make decisions that impact many. We would invite you to look at them through the lens of compassion and understanding while holding them in the expectation of integrity. Expect them to operate from the best possible place that they can. We are not saying that all of your decision-makers are operating from integrity, what we are saying is the only way that they can move fully into integrity and create a beautiful experience for the future is through your individual expectations. Second, if you are in resonance with a beautiful future, your ability to hold that loving place of what could-be can help them to move into that place as well. If there are enough people in alignment with a bright, beautiful and integrity filled future, they will create a foundation for the entire planet to join them there. Love filled expectations and compassion are some of the huge challenges that face humanity at this time. We see so many that say they are filled with compassion, then say or post something derogatory about a political leader that they disagree with – that is NOT loving or compassionate.
There are very few people who are actually staying in integrity and there is far too much bemoaning the awful and predicting worst possible outcomes. Instead, we invite you to see this as a time of dismantling, while you hold a vision of possibilities for a bright future in your head and your heart. It is time to 1) have the expectation that those who have lost their jobs are having the learning and the experience that they need to have no matter how hard it may seem in this world; 2) have the faith and the understanding that the businesses that are suffering are ones that were not meant to remain upon the planet as they are to evolve into something different; 3) that people affected are being freed to contribute in a new way. We understand this may sound too lofty or theoretical right now, or maybe even insensitive. But we assure you that the full picture can not yet be seen by those that are creating it, and in order to create the best possible outcome we encourage you to do your best to adopt this view.
When you see what appears to be a grave injustice in a certain country (any country), please understand that it is an uncovering of darkness that is in need of healing. It is also dismantling the existing structure in order to create space for a new beneficial structure. Sometimes the only way you will be able to support what appears to be chaos unfolding is to come back to the understanding that the present moment is actually creating a generous future.
A Grand Shift is Occurring
Time to hold on to the expectation of what can be, not what is.We have instructed our partner to create a guided release process to assist you to make peace with the current situation, please see it at the end of this essay.
Now, please understand that current circumstances have created a microcosm of emotion for many people. Our partner has referred to it as a pressure cooker, and we agree that it would be a good description. There is much emotion moving very quickly at this time, and those of you who are sensitive are feeling that welling up of emotions on many levels. You may think you are losing your mind because you are up and down, back and forth, all over the place, wondering what is going on? Why am I feeling this way? I felt good yesterday, why do I feel like crap today, or I felt like crap yesterday, but I feel wonderful today. What is going on? You are not just processing your emotions. You are in the pressure cooker together and therefore those emotions are being processed together. This is part of oneness, part of the awakening that you are going to feel that more acutely. While you are going through vast change, that will be uncomfortable. As you move into balance, it will be beautiful.
We invite you to hold on to the expectation of what can be, what is being created and the potential upon the planet at this time. Let us tell you, from our perspective, the potential is vast and beautiful. It has not been completely written yet, for you as humans have the opportunity to create what hat will be. But the foundation or the structure has been put in place. That is thanks to you, lightworkers, you have done a wonderful job of that. You have put in place the foundation for a new world based upon cooperation, compassion, gentleness and fairness. A foundation that you have been creating with all of your meditations, focused intent and gatherings around the world. Please know that we have been right by your side assisting with it. We cannot come in and lay a foundation for you, we would not do that, for that would be taking away your free will. This is your opportunity to create this world in a way that will facilitate your on-going learning and awakening, and we would never take that away from you. Your call for a state of love and a clear intention for the highest good has rallied vast realms of beings that want nothing more than to see humanity succeed in this movement to a new level of being.
You may have heard us say that there are many who are watching this grand experiment, and not just in this galaxy. We want so much for humanity to do this, to succeed in the experiment you put forth for yourselves. It is such a beautiful unfolding that is happening at this time, a spectacular opportunity to learn and to grow, for your soul to move through so much that it has not had the opportunity to move through before.
Did you know that there were souls lined up waiting to come to Earth to have this experience? That is one of the reasons why your population is so large at this time because there were so many souls that wanted to come and experience this time. So here you experiencing vast shifting and growth, and many of you don’t like it much at all!
We are observing from our post and at the ready to assist in any way that we are able to, but we will not interfere. We will offer guidance and energy healing such as the Transmissions of Light, but we will only do it at your request. That is why these transmissions are part of a private group, they are something our partner has been instructed to not put out to the public for free access because we will not force this energy upon anyone who does not desire it. We only wish to work with those who have heard our call and are ready to take up the adventure with us.
Relationship with Career & Money
We wish to take a moment now to address this right relationship with career, purpose, and money. Please see the end of this post for a guided meditation to create a new relationship with money and career.
Money: Please understand that money is an artificial construct to facilitate the exchange of energy. It is also something that has been hijacked and is not being used the way it was originally intended. The shift in your perception of money occurred many, many years ago. Humanity has been continuing to learn about that, and we are cheering you on to step out of that relationship and to allow money to be in service to you as it was originally intended. The first piece is for you to view money in service to you, rather than you in service to money. It has been an exceedingly long time that the relationship has been skewed. It was appropriate you experienced what you did as it has provided the opportunity for so much learning that would not have occurred upon this planet if that had not been the case.
So take money, and shift your relationship with it to one of the money being in service to you. Do not get caught up in all of the details of why it hasn’t been in service as you create the new paradigm and expectation that it is and will be of service to you. We invite you to use a physical object such as some bills to do this exercise. Thak whatever bill(s) you prefer, sit with the bill(s), speak with them and invite them to be in service to you and all of humanity. Then invite it to invite all bills and all the other representations of money to be in service to humanity. Now allow that intention to ripple out through the world. Notice how money actually wants to be of service, it may feel light, playful even fun as this prospect! The more you do this exercise, the more you will shift the relationship, for money to be in service to humanity, rather than humanity being in service to money.
Do this exercise every day, holding the energy for at least 40 seconds each time you do it. Do this day after day, and it will be a noticeably short period of time until your relationship with money changes. You will notice that you start to have a new feel about it, a new experience and suddenly money will become fun, even playful. It will want to pay with you. It wants to be in service to humanity, that was its original purpose. It has been a prisoner of this system just as you have been. Please understand even when we say you have been a prisoner of a system; you have been a prisoner of it because you chose to learn what it is that you have been learning. Now it is time to choose something different and it is time to learn something different.
Career: The next one to shift is your relationship with your career. This exercise is a little more complex as you want your actions to be in service to the world, but also career to be in service to you. The intention of having a job was originally for you to have a way to be creative, entertain and occupy yourself (service to you) and make a difference to humanity (service to the world), not as slavery to earn a living. And there was also to be an appropriate exchange of energy, so some of that money that was to be in service to you could act as an exchange for your joyful service to the world.
We would invite you to begin to look at work, at jobs, at careers as the opportunity to be in joyful service to the world. For the purpose of this exercise, it does not matter what you occupy your time with, it does not need to be a ‘paid job’. It may be cleaning floors or the CEO for a company; volunteering in your community to facilitating events with thousands; taking care of your home and family, or maybe a professional athlete or artist. You do not have to be an ‘important’ person in any particular organization or hold a certain role in order to be worthy of this exchange. Please know that we use the term important simply for understanding, we do not see any human as more important than any other. It does not matter what you do, it only matters that you do it from that joyful place of service.
Just as it is time to change your relationship with money, it is time to change that relationship with service. Service is not intended to be an obligation, rather a joyful opportunity. When you can see service as that opportunity, not as an obligation, and know that it does not matter what that service is, then it can begin to lighten up.
As you take steps to move into the right relationship with money, you can also create a vision that represents how you are being of service in the world. This can be a vision of what you are doing (or would like to do) while you acknowledge that it is also of service. It is completely acceptable for there to be the right exchange for that service. Find your contribution that creates well being for society, humanity, the Earth, and for yourself; that is your service. If you feel that you are not contributing to yourself or the world, then you are out of alignment with your calling. If there is any aspect of what you are doing that you feel is of service, then you are in service and it is time to acknowledge the difference you make in the world Visualize what represents your contribution to the world and invite it to also be of service to you. Invite appropriate monetary exchange if this is a service you require. This exercise will start to create the right relationship between you, your career, and money. You do not need to leave your current job to do something completely different to do this exercise, just do this visualization and begin to shift your vibration and invite in what is most beneficial for you.
Money & Career Service Exercise: Do each of these exercises for at least 40 seconds one after the other, holding the vibration of wellbeing (or use the guided meditation below). If your awareness varies, if you cannot maintain the feeling and focus for 40 seconds, then start over. That is 80 seconds total for the two areas of focus. One minute and 20 seconds are all that you need to start to re-write your script and create a new expectation! If you do that day after day more than once each day, your relationship with money and service will change. As that begins to shift, then the answers to your service and abundance questions will begin to surface. It may be that you fall in love with what you are already doing. It may be that something completely different shows up to provide a new path forward. There are many different ways that you can move towards your right relationship with money, service and exchange for that service.
Potential Outcome:
There is no correct or incorrect outcome of this exercise, only the potential to feel in right-relationship with your career and money.
Where you want to end up is 1) to have money in service to you; 2) have your career in service to you; 3) have you in service to the planet; 4) doing all of this from a place of joy. Although we say it is only one minute and 20 seconds, we understand that you are going to need to take some time to get into that state and it is going to take some practice to get through that without becoming distracted. The more often you do it throughout the days and the weeks, the more powerful it will be. When you can hold this new awareness and come into a place of truly believing it, you will change your resonance. You will begin to resonate with money being in service to you and your service to the world also being in service to you; and finally, you will begin to resonate with the joy of that exchange. This new resonance will change your life! This is one of the aspects of creating what could-be rather than settling for what-is.
With that, we will step back. We feel that we have given you a lot today and that all of you are resonating with the possibilities and potentials. That is where we wanted to take you, far enough so you could see that there is something that you can do now and it does not require any tools other than a few moments of your time and your willingness. We wanted you to understand it is achievable and it is powerful.
It is no accident that you have been drawn here, it is because you were ready to hear our message and take action on it. We wish to honour each one of you because you were ready to hear this message. We could not deliver it until it was time, until you were ready, until the foundation was in place upon the planet, and until our partner was ready to share it. All three of those conditions have been met, so we are now able to bring this forth.
Now, we are going to task each one of you with helping to spread this information far and wide. Dear lightworkers take it into the world and teach everyone that you can about this. Begin to shift your relationship with money and with service. People do not need to believe anything about us, about what we teach or how this message arrived upon the planet in order for this to work for them. You do not need to tell them that it was a Channel that said it, but you may. You do not need to say that it was from the Galactic Council, but you may. It is your free choice of how you share this, we just ask of you that you do so. Take it out into the world and facilitate others in their new expectations and in their right relationship with money and service to them. With what it is that they do upon the planet in service to themselves and in service to humanity. Those are the keys, that create the new expectation for a new world, a new way of being upon the planet.
