As I researched I was able to find very little solid info about why this date was significant astrologically or astronomically\, but the Council was clear that we needed to offer our Cosmic Shift Intention Setting. What I have been able to assertain from their guidance is that this day is indeed a Planetary Alignment of sorts and the significance is the closing of one door and opening of another.
